Our Super Kid in Polar Bear for the month of May is Elena! Elena has come a long way over the past half year. She has successfully made the transition of speaking in only English. Elena can speak clearly and confidently, and she is learning how to speak with volume. She is very good at learning new stories and weekly songs. Great job, Elena!

Phoenix Class proudly presents May’s Super Kid award to Howard. Howard is a very smart and knowledgeable student, but his attention has a tendency to waver. However, during these past few months, Howard has improved tremendously. He has gone from staring at the ceiling and talking to himself, to paying attention and answering questions. All of his schoolwork has gotten better, even his handwriting. We’re all very proud of Howard. Keep up the good work!

The Super Kid for the month of May for Leopard Class is a very special student who always has a good attitude toward learning. It’s such a pleasure to have this leopard in our class because he always tries his hardest and never gets down on himself. His writing still leaves a lot to be desired, but even when I ask him to rewrite his words, he gladly does it. When I asked him to be the lead in our show, he gave his patented smile and accepted, even though we could tell he was a bit embarrassed. It is my pleasure to announce that the Super Kid for May is Will! Congrats, and keep up the good work!

Our Wallaby Class Super Kid for the month of May is one of the most enthusiastic Wallabies. He is always quick to learn the Reading Connection books, and loves to read to anyone he can. He is also always the first to volunteer to do anything to help out the class. Even when he makes mistakes, he is quick to learn from them. This special Wallaby has made some major improvements academically and behaviorally within the last few months. For these reasons and many more, we would like to congratulate our Super Kid for May, Michael!

Our Super Kid for the month of May is a special Unicorn who has improved so much in the past year. She is more confident as she is not shy to show to everyone her talent. Her coordination has improved so much that her dancing skills are to die for! She can really move and groove to the beat! There is nothing this cute Unicorn cannot do. She reads well, sings in tune, and does all her work neatly and completely! She is also popular in class as everyone wants to play with her. We know that this young lady will do wonders in elementary school and in the future. We wish her all the best and would like to congratulate her for a job well done in kindergarten! Congratulations and great job, Sydney! You are truly a Super Kid!

This month’s Super Kid is a special little Lemur who always puts a smile on our faces. He has such a positive personality and never lets anything get him down. No matter how hard class is or how much he struggles to learn something, we can always expect him to do his work with a smile on his face. Since starting Level 4, we have also noticed a great improvement in his phonics; his handwriting has gotten so much better and his reading has been improving all the time. This little car-loving Lemur has been doing great this past month and we are happy to crown Mark as Lemur’s Super Kid for May!
