Terry is our
Super Kid in Cobra Class for the month of January! Terry is a very funny and
active boy. He is almost always in a happy mood. He has improved a lot this past
semester in his ability to communicate in English. His Phonics has also improved
a lot. He can easily read long-vowel words.
Teacher: Ariana, Dolly
Our Super Kid for the month of January is a young girl that is a recent addition to Phoenix Class. Despite being a recent addition, she has blended in effortlessly with her classmates. Her confidence has steadily been improving since her beginning with us. In her class work is where her improved confidence really shows. She is trying things on her own now, and making less and less mistakes. Our Super Kid is also much kinder to her classmates, and she is getting better at sharing with others. Congratulations to our Super Kid, Claire! Keep up the great work!

This month’s
Super Kid is a very quiet student who leads Leopard Class by example. She always
knows what to do and how to do it, and she is always willing to lend a helping
hand to the other students in class. She is well-behaved, she is a good
listener, and she is very sharp. I know that she will always work hard and she
will always be happy to do it. I’m hoping that over the course of level 2, she
finds a louder voice and takes charge in our class, but if she stays the
strong/silent type, I will also be very happy.

The Super Kid
for January is a student whose progress and growth continually impresses me both
as a student and a young lady. She is incredibly smart and talented. She can
come up with her creations/stories on her own and often figures out our word
games quickly because she has a good handle on abstract thinking.
She is usually
one of the first to finish her math and she graciously helps her friends when
they need assistance. Her athletic skills are excellent as she trains herself by
running during any ball pool or exercise time. She has a sharp eye and great
ability to dodge a ball!

This young lady
is our Super Kid for the month of January for so many reasons. Her English
ability is impeccable and impressive as she knows a lot of big vocabulary words
to complete her sentences and stories. She reads her short vowel words like a
pro and is on her way to reading bigger words. Her writing skill has become
better as we go along with our writing practices.
She is also
very helpful as she assists her friends who need extra help here and there. She
plays well with everyone and always thinks of fun and interesting games for
everyone to have fun with.

This month’s Super Kid is a very special Lemur who has shown a lot of growth and progress over this past semester. Although he started off the year with a sometimes bad attitude and definitely no will to participate, all that has definitely changed. He may be a little shy, but he loves helping out his fellow Lemurs, jumping up to push someone else’s chair in, helping others clean up, or even offering answers when another classmate is stumped. He is incredibly intelligent and has a shockingly good memory. If everyone in the class has forgotten a word, I can always count on him to know it. I am excited to see how he grows and develops in level 2. For all of these reasons, Kasey is Super Kid for January!
